This four-phase project will include a total of 248 units and will provide affordable, reliable housing for local families along with a community building & a non-profit center. Related Tahoe is the project’s developer working in partnership with the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC), and I&D Consulting is providing dry utility services to bring power and telecom utilities to the project.
The California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) identified asset land in its jurisdiction for the development of affordable housing. Their vision for this project was to provide affordable, locally available workforce housing with access to community services, recreational opportunities, jobs, shopping, education, and healthcare facilities. The new construction will feature energy-efficient building designs incorporating green technology and reducing water consumption using drought-tolerant landscaping materials. All buildings will be designed to meet California's strict environmental standards while still providing attractive living spaces for locals that are both comfortable and affordable.
